I have not been motivated to crochet much this summer, it’s been so hot and for some reason I mentally rebel against working with yarn during these sweltering months. However, I received this amazing light up crochet set for my birthday and so I searched for a fun summer project and found these SO ADORABLE baby flip flop sandals.
This is the link to the pattern I used at Whistle and Ivy. I made them for one of the babies in our church and they were the cutest thing!
I will have to be on the lookout for more babies I can whip them up for.

Awww those are really cute. Do you find the light up hooks helpful? Either when light isn’t great or with darker yarn? Or do they just look super cool (because they do!)

They are helpful! In low lighting it really helped in being able to see the stitches. One of my friends has a set and she loves to use them when traveling so she doesn’t distract the driver with an overhead light.
